babble bar / Babble Bar

The ultimate guide to find your bar by noise level.

The Idea

When you go out for a drink with a friend, you want to have a good time. However, it happens that the place you found is too loud, other times you would just like to enjoy good music.
Babble Bar is a web service that shows you the right place for your mood by introducing an ambient sound level map.

The Babble Bar Pad is a device which records the noise level in the bar and sends the calculated and processed data periodically back to the internet using LoRa low power wireless technology.

Thanks to the computing technology of the low power micro controller enabling the device, advanced audio calculation and prediction can be performed. This allows the users to anticipate how loud or quiet your bar is going to be using a forecast.

The Babble Bar Pad is a seamless device using only minimal power allowing it to be extremely tiny and lasting over 1 year on one single battery charge.
